Why are red-haired people so unpopular?

I happen to think that red hair sets you apart from the crowd, and can be very attractive.

As a matter of fact, it could even be more appreciated than blonde hair itself...

Because blonde people, no matter how attractive you think they are, look like albinos... (When I saw albino people for the first time, I questioned why blonde people are so admired, and albinos are 'felt sorry for'... Or why do some racists consider blonde people 'to be superior', and African albinos 'to be inferior'...)

Red-haired people have more melanin pigmentation, and so they are not ordinary, and can't be said to suffer from any medical condition either...

(I just don't like freckles in excess... I've seen some red-haired people who had their faces full of freckles and still on their shoulders...)

I don't think red heads are thought to be inferior. People mag (i think) dedicated an entire issue to the likes of Nicole Kidman (a natural red head) Lindsay Lohan, Julianne Moore..etc...

Read heads were unpopular(today they are no longer unpopular) centuries ago because there was this myth/belief that they are witches and have supernatural powers.this of course was not true.redheads were even in danger of losing their lives and accussing fingers were always pointed at them when anything bad happens.but that was then,it is no longer like that today.

I prefer black hair, red hair (natural or dyed), and dark brown hair as opposed to blonde hair. Long ago having blond (e) hair was very much a rarity; however, now it's the popular thing to do, as that seems to be the way the newer generation quantifies their self worth (by how much they fit in.)

Let's all go with the trends, including those who are trying to be an "individual." Individuality ceases to exist anymore in my opinion. People are lacking in creativity desperately, why do you think everything that is coming out now is a product of the past in some way or another?!?!? Every movie that comes out, has already been out (exact same plot just change a few names and the scenery.) Etc. Etc.

Ok well I have blonde hair and do not in any way, shape or form look like an albino. lets get that straight first. Oh and it's natural too,not dyed.

And I am married to a red-head and have just had a baby who looks like he will have red hair too so I like it.

My very best friend (died of cancer a few years ago) had red hair. Several relatives, friends, acquaintances, co-workers of mine have red hair or some red in it -- they are not unpopular. :)
