Well, I'm a brunette.. and I want to dye my hair dark red. I have side bangs right now, and I want to get normal bangs. Do you think that red hair, not really long, but it's past the shoulders.. like five inches down from the shoulders... and bangs would look wierd or pretty?

well. nelly furtado has long hair and bangs. but i would recommend taking a few inches off of the bottom, to get rid of possible split ends and to polish it off. then when you get your bangs, make sure that they cover your forehead, but are not too thick. also, if your hair's a deep brown, make sure that the red you dye it has brown in it too. if you have naturally orange skin, or your skin burns, don't dye it red. you'll look horribly like jessica simpson does now. eww.

dye your hair red, nutty red, or amber if your skin is light and well, not pale, but not too strong of a color. like porcelain skin, ya no?

PS: i got bangs, and i wear them down sometimes. if you don't like your look with bangs, get barrettes and clip them back. its not hard.

Well what kind of red. If it's a natural reddish brown it would look pretty. But an actual red might look a little too unatural and it the bangs would be bringing too much attention to your hair. Try to keep the brown in there by having an earthy brown/red color.

I have dark reddish brown hair, and I kinda think that if you have bangs in the front, all you can do with your hair is wear it in two braids....side bangs might look nice though.

My best friend has had her hair with strait bangs (like the ones strait across the forehead) for as long as i can remember. and her hair is red. so i would think that it would look really good. but what i think would look better if you keep the side bangs and then dye it red. i just like side bangs better.
