Hair straightener?

I have a crimper, but not a straightner (I don't need a straitener, I have long, smooth, straight hair to my back!) However, my brother had somewhat POOFY red hair, down to his shoulders or so, and he wants it straitened. I can't buy a new straightener or ask a friends for one, but his hair is thick. Would a crimper work? Help!

Hair straightener?

I think a crimper might work, but you'd have to commit to it. Crimping to straighten would take time %26amp; patience. You might be better off blow drying it. If you use an open round brush (the kind with holes in it) you can brush the wet/damp hair and the start at the top, %26amp; work your way down with the hair dryer. I always use a hairdryer to dry my hair, and it come out straight all the time. When you're done, though, you might want to spray the whole head (not face :D) with hairspray, just to keep shape. Good Luck!

The best straightener (i think) is a CHI

Hair straightener?

I really don't think so.

A crimper would work but when you use it, instead of doing it slowly to get the crimpled effect do it a little faster and it makes it strait instead. I've done it before and works wonders!
