What to do with my hair.?

I have naturally light red hair, its really thin, it takes about 3 hours to completely dry, its naturally really wavy, its layered at the bottoms (and kinda at the middle too), and it stops at mid-back. When I get out of the shower, and I wanna wear my hair down, when it gets done air-drying, its all frizzy and ugly looking. So, most of the time, I just give up and put it in a tight ponytail when I get out of the shower. And the only other way my hair looks good is when I straighten it, but I cant do that on school mornings because I get a shower every school morning, and my hair will take forever to dry. So I just put it up into a high ponytail everyday...basically, I am just looking for some new hair ideas for my type hair, any suggestions?? Appreciate it!

Try some Frizz-Ease hair serum, it works wonders!! You can find it at WalMart or anywhere. You apply (just a little) to wet hair and let air dry. Your hair will be curly and smooth, just right.

take a shower before u go to bed and let your hair air dry till almost dry, or blow dry, then put it up in a messy bun that nightand the next morning spray some anti frizz spray and shake your hair a little and it should be good

I have a problem with frizzy hair too. The only thing I have found to work is Zero Frizz, hair serum. You can find it at CVS or Walmart for about $7.00

well for one thing, dont take showers in the morning.

If you sleep on your hair, it'll get a bit of oil on it which will make it less frizzy and shinier.

And it also kinda tames your hair a bit, and gives you more time for more important things in the mornings.

Use a boar bristle brush to spread out the oils and itll be shiny and less frizzy.

And bangs are cool, side swept usually.

Try blowdrying your hair with a boar bristle brush too. It smooths it out and its kind of like striangtening but not as damaging. Use a heat protection spray before this.

Sounds like you would benefit from Friz-Ease products. They are made especially for naturally wavy hair to reduce, you guessed it, friz. Also, you may want to consider using a hair dryer with a diffuser, and apply a heat-protectant spray beforehand. Air drying severely contributes to frizz. It really does, at least in my case. When I use ALL the same anti-frizz products and let my hair air dry, my hair is a mess of frizz that I can barely comb through. When I blow dry carefully, moving the drying DOWN the shaft of the hair, it dries smooth and slick. I know allowing the hair to air dry is supposedly preferable, but that quite frankly makes ANY type of hair almost impossible to style properly.

okay it may be the products you use, i am very good with my hair i take care of it very well and i dont use expensive products. i use sun silk hairapy shampoo and conditioner (the purple bottles) and after i get out of the shower i put a hair polisher in my hair to make it soft, its called fantasia hair polisher daily hair treatment, aloe enriched and it smooths, and repairs damaged hair. so when you put that on brush your hair while its still wet. and then blowdry it and the polish should help, just brush it straight while your blow drying it and you should get it to look nice! :)

well basically ur describing what my hair use to be like (basically a pain in the reer if u kno what i mean lol).. untill i cut it .. victoria beckhem style.. i now have no problems .. i wash my hair, style it with leave in conditioner (when i get out of the shower). .and dry it with the hair dryer. while combing it.. so it doesnt friz and goes straight.. (that takes about 10 minutes all together so far).. and bravo its done.. its easy classy cute and i am LOVEING IT .. u should definatly consider it.. it would look really good with ur red hair.. u can even play it up a notch and add some streaks.. im planning on adding soem streaks.. im not sure what colour yet.. probably red.. (my hair is black).. with ur red hair u should add bleach blonde streaks.. that would look hot! anywayz hope u consider my suggestion :) .. oooh ya and DONT cut your hair yourself go to a professional cause u may end up recking it... it looks like an easy cut but its hard to do cause there are alot of layers in the cut.. hairdresser will also tell u how to style it on your own.. (everyones hair is different so they specify directly to how ur hair is..how to maintain the style)..

okay to make it less frizzy go the store like Wal-Mart and get dove products it will help ur hair a lot!! and if u get a ceramic hair straightener then it will help and if u get a more powerful blow dryer that is hotter it will dry faster but here comes the advice for a hair cut. U need to get so many lairs it is unbelievable like some are only four inches long and it will make ur hair look more full and pretty and easier to manage. DONT GET BANGS!!! the reason why is b/c if ur hair is thin then the bangs will be flat but if u get sweep bangs it wont look to bad. find a part in ur hair that is to the side like one of the hair cuts down below.
