What colors work best for red heads?

I have natural red hair..its not like firey red but its red with blonde highlights ( you can check out my myspace page if you wanna see the red i'm talking about its www.myspace.com/megs0502) and i'm not sure what color of eye shaddows to use..i've been using browns since i remember using make up..i tried purple and i think it clashes with my hair..i have white skin..like casper the friendly ghost is jealous how white i am..i don't tan at all..and i think my look is kinda plain and was just wondering what the best colors eye shaddow..lipstick/gloss..thanks!!

Well in Devil Wears Prada Emily wears turquoise and violet eyeshadow and it looks amazing!! Or you can try a dark smokey eye using black,charcoal, and gray it would look really pretty with your red hair. And as for lipstick you can try a neutral color with a brighter eyeshadow, and vice versa(is that right?lol) and a lighter lipstick with darker eyeshadow.

if your going out or something and you wanna do a smoky eye, i love a deep saphire blue.

but for daytime use i would say browns and pinks because you wanna stay on the nuetral side.

always wear a 2 in 1 lipstick/gloss because it will soften up your face and lipstick alone looks to harsh. I would say all shades of pink for lips.

Browns are good.. stick with those for the most part, But I would suggest trying a little coral mixed in, or try some burgundy mixed in a little.. especially for lip color. Stick with warm colors. Cool colors will just wash out already pale skin :-)

i am a redhead too. i use mostly M.A.C, smashbox, or hard candy brown or dark or light purple. but i have seen in magazines redheads wearing turquoise eyeliner with brown shadow. it looks AMAZING! so for the most part, i would recommend sticking with browns, purples, and turquioses. but don't be afraid to try anything extreme everyone once in a while!
