however, certainly for me and i think many others, its not just one thing about a girl, its the whole package, if her hair colour goes with the rest of her- personality, dress sence, type of person etc etc it doesn;t bother me at all. if "it" (it being the whole person) works, it works

i dont think men hate women with red hair, no idea where that comes from. they do say traditionally that women with red hair have fierey/feirce tempers- perhaps its this stereotype that puts them off?
i slightly more anal answer may be the caveman in us sees red hair as a sign or danger, or as a ginetic weakness (red hair makes hiding in the bushes from predators harder) in a potential mate which puts us off.

We prefer good posture. A wonderful smile. And kindness.
If this is about what's going to impress us, then go with your natural hair color, whatever that might be. If it's about your own fun in life, then do whatever you want. But don't do it for us. Do it for yourself. It'll show.
