Why would a guy deny that he dyed his hair?

Why would a guy deny that he dyed his hair?

this guy i work with is a bright red head and now he has dark red hair, i asked him" it looks like you dyed your hair, you did right?" and he denied it ,which is weird since he told my friend amy yes he dyed it, but i asked him twice and he denied it , amy she it's because he's embarrassed , but what does he have to be ashamed of?

why would he deny that he dyed his hair?

whats to be embarrassed of? he got it a little darken 3 weeks ago and he admitted it, but he seemed apprehensive about telling me and i know he darken it more this week and i just wanted to know b/c i was curious but why would he deny darkening his hair more when admitted to my friend amy he did darken/dyed it more?

Why would a guy deny that he dyed his hair?

some people view a guy dyeing his hair as too feminine

Why would a guy deny that he dyed his hair?

Maybe he likes you and your persistant questioning has made him really annoyed or self conscious. GOOD JOB!

hahaha.

Maybe you're the only person he wants to impress...eh? And now you've ruined his ego. He's probably contemplating drowning himself in his bathtub at the moment!

LOL...j/k ;)

Why would a guy deny that he dyed his hair?

Probably the same reason he dyed it in the first place - he is insecure.

Why would a guy deny that he dyed his hair?

Why do women deny having boob jobs, or athletes deny taking steroids?

Even when you *know* they are lying, you still feel differently about them than if they admit it outright. By denying, it's like they are saying they aren't proud of it, even if they did have their reasons for doing it. And there is still that element of doubt.

Basically - it's human nature.

Why would a guy deny that he dyed his hair?

Why do people ask obvious questions? Its obvious his hair is dyed, why ask if it is? You said there was an obvious different in his hair color between the two weeks. Its like when someone ask if you just got a bob after having waist length hair... it makes no sense.

Answer stupid questions (did you dye your hair?) with stupid answers (no).

Why would a guy deny that he dyed his hair?

Insecurity. Guys tend to believe that if they dye their hair or make any real effort to look good it means that they're gay or weird or conceited. But drop the issue with him, why does it really matter, if it makes him uncomfortable then don't push it.
