I have red hair, and bought a cheap hair dye kit that turned my hair back!!!! What can I do to get back to my natural color w/ out going to the hairdresser?!

lisa, you wrote back, did you mean black?get in touch with the hair dye kit maker, and tell them what happened.
They may be able to help you. Or go to a salon, and at least find out in detail, what they would do, it may be to difficult to do yourself ,with out getting in more of a mess.

nothing get your @ss to a professional now. you can not color over color it wont lift it. They have special hair color remover that will take the dye off

My mother is hairdresser, use a good shampoo and brush your hair every day.Never bought cheap dies are very bad for hair!!

Wash the hell out of it with Dawn dish soap... It's what we tell all of our hair disaster clients who can't a afford to come in. The soap's strong detergents fade hair color. That's about as good as it gets. Take care.
